Introduction of local host
Dr. Hiroshi Uechi Faculty of Commerce
Osaka Gakuin University, Japan
Hiroshi Uechi, Ph.D. He obtained his doctoral degree in nuclear physics (theoretical nuclear physics) from Indiana University,USA, under the guidance of Professor Brain D. Serot who founded the nuclear field theory, quantum hadrodynamics (QHD) with Professor John D, Walecka. Currently, he is a professor at Osaka Gakuin University and has been working on nuclear many-body theory and nuclear astrophysics.
He has been investigating self-consistent QHD hadronic approximations in terms of Landau's Fermi-liquid theory and density functional theory (DFT) while applying QHD nonlinear and chiral effective models to neutron star calculations. He is working on nonlinear mean-field and chiral mean-field method for nuclear, self-consistent approximation method beyond mean-field approximations.
Dear delegates and colleagues,
It is my great honor to welcome all of you to the Asia-Pacific Social Science Conference (APSSC), in Kyoto, Japan, which promotes exchanges of information, communications and collaborations among researchers worldwide. I am Hiroshi Uechi, your local host in Kyoto, Japan, and a Professor at Osaka Gakuin University in Osaka, working in the field of physics, theoretical nuclear-astrophysics, biochemical interactions, energy-harvesting technologies.
We are living in the 21st century by succeeding cultural, economic, technological and scientific progress as a legacy of the prosperity of humanity in the present day. We have prospered and enjoyed the seed of advanced culture of currently society, but still have serious and delicate unsolved issues in ecology, environment, energy resources, economy, and education system. We need active and constructive communications and collaborations in all expertise in order to resolve problems and sustain in our societies, environmental and ecological systems, energy resources.
The international conference APSSC will host many distinguished leading experts, executives and entrepreneurs in the fields of their expertise. On behalf of the participants for their enthusiastic support and contributions.
In addition to researchers' mutual communications, we would like to welcome all of you to the above conferences and hope that every participant and accompanying family member will enjoy cultural explorations in Kyoto, Osaka and Nara. Thank you.
